Some day,I will take a trip on this magnificent ship across the Atlantic heading towards Southampton, England and begin my European adventure. I know that I will look forward to the long days at sea just enjoying some quiet time catching up on all that reading, I have been meaning to do for the last 10 years...for those of us (and yes even some travel agents prefer not to fly) like myself who would rather get on a ship than sit on a plane this is the best way to go the QUEEN MARY 2 is Cunard’s flagship and the most magnificent ocean liner ever built. Which is Your Favorite View?

So this is it, you have finally made a decision to book that long awaited cruise, your travel agent wants to know what type of stateroom you would like, you say all excited we want a balcony...simple right? Well yes, but if you are sailing on one of the two largest cruise ships in the world Royal Caribbean's Oasis or Allure of the Seas then you need to have a little bit more information, you see on these ships you have several choices, you can opt for the traditional Ocean View Balcony, or the new and exciting Neighborhood Balconies (Boardwalk or Central Park views.)
...so how do you choose?
The very first questions, I ask my guests is what type of experience would you  like, Why a balcony in the first place; here is a brief description of each and why some of my past guests have chosen them...
Enjoy, ♥ Noemi

• Ocean View Balcony - Luxurious stateroom offer Private balconies and sitting area overlooking the ocean... "it was so Romantic, I loved that we could see the sun rise or set in the evenings, and the ocean breeze was always wonderful...Emily - Dayton, OH"
• Boardwalk View Balcony - Private balcony overlooking the bustling boardwalk... " my sister-in-law enjoyed her cabin, but she missed the complete privacy of the ocean view, my husband and I are from the city; loved the hustle and bustle &  people-watching... a plus was that our cabin towards the very back of the boardwalk gave us the advantage of seeing the Aqua Theater shows and the ocean as well what an experience! The Rivera Family from NYC"
• Central Park View Balcony - Private balcony overlooking the serene central park..."Living in The Villages retirement community we enjoy a tranquil environment and just sitting and watching as our friends & neighbors go about enjoying the day, that is what Harold and I loved about our balcony over looking Central Park, we got to watch as our fellow shipmates went about strolling in the park or sitting down to dinner at one of the many eateries, I especially loved as the day turned into night and all the twinkling lights would come on. - Sharon and Harold - The Villages, FL"
